It’s unfortunate that the DJI Inspire 1 can’t beat entry-level drones in some categories, such as operating range and battery life. But this drones primary function seems to be recording video and stable flight, so I guess they had to prioritize one feature over another. If they made the right decision, well, that’s up to you.
