The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K is a Multirotors drone that was released by Yuneec in 2015.

A multirotor drone is a multiple propeller, vertical lift drone. These drones are more maneuverable due to their flight profile, being able to fly much closer to buildings and other obstacles. Performance

The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K sits on the slower side of drones, with a max speed sitting around 8 m/s. This might not be a bad thing though, so it really depends on why you're looking at buying the drone. If you're happy with a slightly slower drone then this one could be what you're after.

With a range that falls under the 1km mark at 0.8 km, it's definitely on the lower side of drones. This will be plenty for an occasional, line of sight flight drone, particularly with toys, but if you're looking to fly something with a little more range than this drone definitely isn't for you.

The drone sits well within an average flight time when compared to other drones, with a maximum flight time of 25 min. This flight time will be plenty of the average user, and should give you more than enough time between charges. You can always bring an extra battery to swap out between flights, or just a battery pack to charge it up as you go should you need a little more flight time.

The Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K certainly looks good on paper. It records in 4K, offers a removable camera and handheld stabilization system, and (if you opt for the more expensive package) ships with a carrying case and extra battery.

After watching all the incredible features as well as few limitations of Q500 drone, it appears to be the winner in many aspects as compared to other drones in market. If you have great budget and want to buy a classic drone with high camera resolution then Yuneec Q500 is recommended for you. It possesses all incredibly responsive control function and smart modes make flying experiences more interesting. You will love to work with its durable and strong body. But you have to spend more to get this device for your routine needs.

A very fine 4K camera for the ground and the sky

Thanks to some useful accessories and a solid feature set, the smooth-flying, easy-to-use Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K quadcopter is a compelling package for video and photos in the sky or on the ground. The design is a little rough around the edges, and if you want autonomous flight features like waypoint navigation, you're out of luck. Otherwise, this is one nice drone for the money.

Capturing aerial 4K footage gets absurdly easy with Yuneec's Typhoon Q500 4K

If you’re looking to capture professional-looking aerial video without the professional price tag, the Q500 should definitely be on your radar. The built-in 4K camera easily rivals some handhelds, and the simple controls allow you to focus more on filming and less on flying the drone. All things considered, this is one of the best quadcopters you can get for $1,300.

Great image quality at a decent price – just don't crash it.

It may be cheaper than the competition, and lack that premium feel, but the Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K has talent where it counts. Its 4K video capture is excellent, while the bundled ST10+ Personal Ground Station controller scores over its rivals thanks to the inclusion of a touchscreen. Battery life could be better, but for less than £1,000 you'll be hard-pushed to find a better drone than this.
