I only had the chance to fly the H920 a few times. But it is clear that this is a drone that really benefits from having an experienced pilot behind the flight controls. If you're more of an enthusiast who wants the best quality aerial video, consider instead the DJI Inspire 1 Pro, which sells for around $3900. I haven't reviewed that particular configuration, but I did fly the Inspire 1 aircraft and found it to be easier to handle in the air than the Tornado. It's lighter and behaves more like a sports car—the Tornado's size and payload capacity means that it's not quite as nimble in the air. But for pro applications where you need to fly with a larger camera—and want the failsafe reassurance that comes with a six-rotor aircraft—the Tornado H920 is one to consider.

The Yuneec Tornado H920 is intimidating to look at, however, it’s stock full of features. The software offers excellent stability in the air, even with side wind coming at you. If you understand the Typhoon ST10+ controller, you will find the information on the ST24 controller will not overwhelm you, and you will be able to make accurate readings even in the glaring sunlight.
